I was given your name by Cheryl Lewis in regards to potential employees; I am looking for a sous chef. My business is City View catering, one of the largest full-service, independent catering companies in Houston. I am experiencing tremendous growth and am hiring employees, most needed is a sous chef. The pay is in the $30,000 to $40,000 range with bonuses. I offer insurance, paid vacation, most nights and weekends off.

The main focus of the job is to manage and assist in food production as well as assisting me in food cost control as well as labor cost control. The sous chef will also be responsible for receiving product and overseeing the proper storage and rotation of product. Additionally, the sous chef will be responsible for the kitchen and employees in my absence. A Spanish speaking person is a plus and excellent leadership skills are a must. New Restaurant-Pan y Agua- Seeks All Positions



Pan y Agua, a new restaurant by John Moore, owner of Palazzo's, is scheduled to open on June 16th.


Pan y Agua will feature 'Latin Grill' cuisine like mesquite grilled steaks, cabrito, ceviche and tuna tartare. (no chips & salsa)


With tablecloths and candles, Pan y Agua will be THE place to take a date or to dine on special occasions.


They will be open for lunch and dinner from 11 am to 10 pm, closed on Sundays.
