A One Pot Cook-Off for TCA members over 50 years of age will take place on

Saturday, August 2nd as part of the Annual Convention in Lubbock. Lot's of to be had!

'Fifty Years - Fifty Cakes' Cake Decorating Competition

The creativity and skill of chefs and bakers of Texas has been demonstrated over many years. We are asking for your help to showcase these skills during TCA's Convention in Lubbock.

Rules:

Each competitor may enter more than one cake. The cake will not be cut. The cake be on cake forms. Only the decorations will be judged. Your do NOT need to be a TCA member There will be a cash Grand Prize and a cash Reserve Winner Prize as well as several other cash prizes. Cakes will be displayed on draped tables. The theme of the cake should be: Celebration: 50 years of 50 cakes. The cake must be delivered to the Holiday Inn Civic Center in Lubbock by noon on Friday, August 1, 2008. The cake must be collected by noon on Sunday, August 3rd. Left over cakes will be disposed of on Sunday, after 1 pm. Questions may be addressed to Mary Jane Sampson at 806.438.8080.
